Ahh le petit dernier de Colleen Hoover... On est à nouveau ici dans un YA puisqu'on suit Beyah, une jeune femme de 19 ans allant vivre chez son père suite à la mort de sa mère. Elle va faire la rencontre de sa demi-sœur (la fille de la femme du père) ainsi que les proches de cette dernière.
J'ai bien aimé ce livre, comme tous les CoHo, il se lit rapidement, l'anglais est simple pour ceux qui ont peur de se lancer, et l'histoire est mignonne mais triste par moments, comme toutes ses œuvres. Pour être honnête, je ne me suis pas particulièrement attachée aux personnages, même si j'ai bien aimé la soeur, mais j'ai parfois eu envie de secouer Beyah pour qu'elle se confie enfin à son père, mais je peux comprendre pourquoi elle ne le fait pas.
J'ai par contre été surprise du cliffhanger auquel je ne m'attendais pas, pourtant je pensais bien que quelque chose allait se passer puisque c'est du Colleen Hoover tout craché, mais je ne m'attendais pas à cela.
Une bonne petite lecture, pas un des meilleurs de l'auteure selon moi, mais j'ai passé un bon moment.
